LECCE: I DREAMED CONSTRUCTION Koreja SHAKESPEARE

EXCLUSIVE REGIONAL
A DREAM IN THE NIGHT SUMMER

Friday 11 and Saturday, February 12 to 20.45 great comeback on the stage of Civic Way Back to Massimiliano A DREAMS IN THE NIGHT SUMMER of William Shakespeare , Romaeuropa recent debut at the Festival. with
For this production was written a new translation, made by the same Civic, which has taken nearly two years of work and presents itself as unique in the world of textual interpretation of the Shakespearean canon and is an absolute novelty for the Italian theater.
Three years after the last work, The Merchant of Venice (Ubu Prize for Directing Award 2008 and 2009 to actors Vittorio Mezzogiorno), on stage in Lecce with great success last season's Koreja, Civic, already artistic director of Theatre of the Cough of Genoa, deals with this new venture production with the Teatro Stabile Umbria, driven by the need to embark on a path that could lead to a People's Art Theatre and combining reality, precision, illusion and magic. The Dream of Shakespeare raises questions about the possibility of staging that resists any attempt to represent: the world of spirits, fairies and elves running through the woods, the moonlight in a theater. The invisible, in fact. The Invisible, which will be shown in this show with technical and signs inherently theatrical ventriloquism through which the actors' voices are detached from their bodies to become invisible, tiny elves and fairies dancing in the air "faster than the sphere of the moon"; walking ghosts of the No Theater, in which Oberon and Titania, aerial spirits and unseen, gliding soar on stage as they did not have weight, and other inventions that are sure to intrigue the public.

A training course that included the stage of research (training in Denmark at Eugenio Barba's Odin Teatret), and the school of the Italian tradition (diploma in directing at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts "Silvio D'Amico) but above all an apprenticeship at the Theatre of Cough, alongside Lele Luzzati and Tonino Conte.
